Is the Google calculator 100% right? ›

In most cases it isn't, there could be a bug in the firmware or the silicon which makes certain calculations wrong, but that's very rare.

Order matters !! It can matter what order you enter a calculation if it involves multiple steps. Your calculator will typically do multiplication and division steps before doing addition or subtraction. You can force the calculator to do the part of the problem that you have entered by using the [=] key.

You can re-enter the calculator to see the numbers when you used the calculator last time. Click "C" on the calculator page to reset to zero and recalculate. Click the clock icon on the calculator page to view the historical calculation records, and click "Clear history" to delete the historical calculation records.

Recalling Previous Answers:

You can refer back to the most recent calculation with the [ANS] key. You can also recall the entire previous line with [ENTRY]. (Using [ENTRY] multiple times in a row goes further back into your history.)

Using the Home Screen

Most calculations are stored in home screen history. Press } and † to scroll through the entry history and paste the entries or answers to the current entry line.

Sadly, the iPhone Calculator app does not have a history option. However, you can still copy the result of your most recent calculation and use the memory buttons in the app, which we will explain in this article.
